SEE CHRIST

("Sir, we would see Jesus!" - John 12:21).

See Christ hanging on Calvary's cross,

Behold His hands, His feet, His side!

His sinless Self to redeem our loss,

What love of God we crucified.

See Christ rising from out the dead,

Glad Easter dawn brings earth's new light!

The empty tomb resounds, "Risen, as He said!"

To end our fears and death's dark night.

See Christ reigning in heaven on high,

Yet He suffers with His saints below!

Guiding our footsteps, beyond the sky,

All things for good are ours we know.

See Christ coming in endless glory,

To take His own with Him to share!

If we obey salvation's glad story,

A crown of life awaits us there.

So, let us

Tell the glad tidings! Let them ring!

Others to Jesus we will bring.

Tell the glad tidings! Jesus lives!

Joy unending, He freely gives.

Wilbert Donald Gough

Looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith; Who for the joy that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God (Hebrews 12:2).

Look unto Me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth for I am God, and there is none else (Isaiah 45:22).

Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me (Micah 7:7).

Those who look to Him are radiant . . (Psalm 34:5).
